About Sara Howell Studio & Gallery

On November 3, 1995, an old Jonesboro building (405 S. Main) took on a new life with the opening of local artist Sara Howell's Studio and Gallery and it's first show.  Since that time, Sara and the Gallery have given Jonesboro Arkansas artists and patrons a venue to show and purchase art.  Her first show highlighted nine local artists.  Through the years, her body of work and the number of artists represented has grown and evolved. The annual art shows that Sara hosts are amazing. She brings in artists from Memphis, TN, Little Rock AR, St. Louis MO, Cape Girardeau MO, Fayetteville AR as well as other local artists.  These artists create art in the form of pottery, wood prints, oil paintings, watercolor paintings, custom jewelry, pen and ink drawings, blown glass and many other forms.  Some of the paintings are already framed and some are just prints that you can frame yourself.
