We staying here a while now... It's quite and green in spring... Maintain ground in every seasons. Nice neighborhood. Office and maintenance people are good. Feel like home to us.
We've lived at Ottavo for over 5 years. We are moving out this month as we have bought a house, but we will be sad to go. We've truly enjoyed living here. We love our apartment, and the lovely grounds. The maintenance staff is wonderful, professional and friendly. The office staff has always been willing to help us if needed, and they were excellent during the pandemic. I would highly recommend living at the Ottavo. It is quiet, lovely, and a wonderful place to call home. We will miss it!!
I been living here for almost three months now and it has been the worst experience ever. For starters you have to sign a lease in order to actually see the apartment you think you are signing up for. We were sent a video of what we thought was the apartment we were getting, just to move in and have a different layout/carpet instead of hardwood floors, etc. Not to mention the load of problems we had as soon as we came into the apartment: having carpet coming up in the entry way, broken closet shelves, a burner on the stove top broken, oven door broken, mold in the vents and restrooms, window screens (all of them) broken, and the back bed room has little to no circulation of heat or air conditioning. Also you will be paying a $250 pet deposit that in the end of your lease does not cover anything that having an animal might cause, but be subjected to paying out of pocket for these things. Not to mention, with paying a $1750 rent you would love to have a helpful staff but that also is quite the opposite. If given the chance to move out, without a ridiculous termination of lease fee, we definitely would move out in a heart beat. Trust the bad reviews over the good ones when it comes to this apartment complex, I wish we did when we first started looking into this place.
Incredibly disappointing. we just moved in and there are currently no in person tours, which is completely understandable, but the video we were sent and the apartment we got keys to (which we were only allowed after we signed our lease) were not the same. frankly, the misrepresentation is disheartening. The faux wood flooring was actually carpet that is lifted almost at every wall. the person they sent to fix it kindly told us they couldn’t because the carpet was just not installed properly, it was not cut and the installer simply glued the carpet to part of the wall... there’s mold in the bathroom that we only saw because the corners of the walls aren’t painted properly, the towel rack is falling off the wall literally hanging off , the vents are all CAKED with dust, paint is peeling off. it’s honestly unbelievable this unit was signed off as move in ready. not to mention we can hear our neighbors conversing and coughing... i cannot wait to find what we hear when they do something mildly loud. for the price this complex charges it is incredibly disappointing. i wish we had the chance to see how shoddy this unit is *before* having to sign the lease.
I have been living at Ottavo for about seven months, but they are always super friendly and respectful and staff and maintenance is always amazing! I had a issue with my sink today and even with the unexpected early winter storm, they were able to fix my sink within 15 minutes! Cisco did an amazing job!
